This training is targeted at members of AMLSN in directorate cadre in the public/civil service. This training will focus on cross cutting areas in administration that will strengthen the delivery of quality and efficient service as well as enhance appropriate interaction with colleagues and the management of their institutions.

Arrival date: June 10, 2019
Departure date: June 14, 2019
Venue: Abuja.

NB: AMLSN will be responsible for the following expenses
• Accommodation
• Feeding (tea break/lunch)
• Course material
• Resource material

Qualified and Selected participants will be responsible for their own transportation.

Call for Conference Consultant

Association of Medical Laboratory Scientist of Nigeria {AMLSN} is seeking qualified event Manager/Consultant for her 55th Conference tagged CAPITAL CITY 2019.

The conference will attract both local and international participants

Your rich proposal could form the basis for a contract agreement between your organization and AMLSN.
Interested organization should submit expression of interest (EOI) not more than five pages to: amlsn2019@gmail.com and should include supporting related documents of previous events facilitated.

The term of reference (TOR) includes but not limited to
• Fund raising for the conference
• Your creative initiative will be an added advantage.

AMLSN 2019 Call for Authors/Reviewers

AMLSN eLearning implementing team is calling for applications from subject experts for appointment as authors/reviewers for Year 2019 courses in the following topics:

• Epigenetic Basis and Laboratory Diagnosis of Disease
• Criminal evidence and Procedure
• Immunology of Infectious Disease
Automation and Instrumentation in Medical Laboratory Science Practice
• Clients Satisfaction as quality indicator in Medical Laboratory Services

 

Requirements:

• Minimum of HND/Bsc/BMLS., MSc./Professional Qualification (AMLSN, FMLSCN etc); a PhD is an advantage but not required
• Demonstrable excellence in area of specialization
• Experience in delivering training for adults in resource constrained environments
• Experience in developing competency based curriculum or eLearning courses
• Experience in conducting and synthesizing research
• Available to attend a 2-3 days course training
• Ability to devote a minimum of two hours per week to course development until published
• Experience in using IT, Graphics/Multimedia tools and social media
• Must be in good financial standing with the Association (for MLS)

Mode of Application

1. Cover letter indicating interest in one of the topics above.
2. A brief description of understanding of your chosen topic.
3. At least three learning objectives to be achieved in undertaking the course.
